Master Urban Future takes part in the 9th University Day of the National Urban Development Policy
The 9th University Day of the National Urban Development Policy will take place in Berlin on 5 and 6 June 2025. Under the title "Working Together - Urban Practices of Change", innovative approaches, collaborative strategies and forward-looking solutions for urban development will be discussed. The focus will be on proven and new urban practices that show how spatial transformation can succeed - from local engagement to structural changes.
In addition to overarching lectures and discussions, representatives from various universities, local authorities and associations will offer a total of eight parallel workshops at the event. The Master Urban Future is participating with a workshop on "Intermediary Actors in Practice", in which the functions and roles of intermediary actors as mediators between administration, civil society, science and business in transformative urban development processes will be discussed with guests Jonas Machleidt (Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing), Sebastian Beck (vhw), Nils Kaltenpoth (Urban Catalyst) and the Urban League.
The university conference is organised by the German Academy for Urban and Regional Planning DASL and financially supported by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB). Participation is free of charge, registration is required by 1 June 2025.
